Position of a Legal Advisor (MP-I Scale) on a two years contract is vacant in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad
Ph.D in Law from a HEC recognized University or MS/M.Phil, in International Law from a HEC recognized Foreign University in any one of the following subjects; a. Law of Peace Education: b. Law of war. Neutrality and international Disputes c. Law relating to International Organizations d. Private International Law I. 15 years of practice in legal profession/legal matters plus 05 years practice in international law; or ii. 15 years experience in teaching Law plus 05 years of experience in teaching international law at one of the HEC recognized universities; or Experience: iii. 15 years experience of dealing with legal official matters plus 05 years practical expeience in international organizations or litigation; or iv. 15 years experience of dealing with official legal matters plus 05 years experience as an advisor to Government or non-government organizations on questions relating to International Law. Age: Maximum 55 years of age on the closing date for receipt of application.
The candidates already in government service shall be required to resign from the service, in case of selection as Lega Advisor (MP-I).
