Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals to fill the following positions in the Higher Education Commission:

OR MPhil with 10 years experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 and above or equivalent in a Government/Semi-Government/public sector organisation/ autonomous body/corporation. OR Master's degree with 12 years experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 and above or equivalent in a Government/Semi-Government/public sector organisation/autonomous body/corporation. Knowledge of MS Office is also required. 2. Director (Automation) (BPS-19) (Regular) (1 position) Sindh (U) = 1 First class Master's/Bachelor's degree (16 years) in Information Technology/ Computer Science/BCS/BCE/BS Engineering (Electrical/Telecom) or equivalent from HEC recognised institute with 12 years' experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 or equivalent in any Government/ Semi-Government/ autonomous bodies/national or international organisation of repute. 50 Years (Max.) 3. Director (Networks) (BPS-19) (Regular) (1 position) KPK= 1 First class Master's/Bachelor's degree (16 years) in Information Technology/ Computer Science/BCS/BCE/BS Engineering (Electrical/Telecom) or equivalent from HEC recognised institute with 12 years' experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 or equivalent in any Government/ Semi-Government/ autonomous bodies/national or international organisation of repute. 50 Years (Max.) 4. Deputy Director (BPS-18) (Regular) (1 position) Sindh (R)= 1 PhD degree with one year experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 and above or equivalent in a Government/Semi-Government/public sector organisation/ autonomous body/corporation. OR MPhil with three years experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 and above or equivalent in a Government/Semi-Government/public sector organisation/ autonomous body/corporation. OR Master's degree with five years experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 and above or equivalent in a Government/Semi-Government/public sector organisation/autonomous body /corporation. Deputy Director (System Management) (BPS-18) (Regular) (1 position) Balochistan= 1 First class Master's/Bachelor's degree (16 years) in Information Technology/ Computer Science/BCS/BCE/BS Engineering (Electrical/ Telecom) or equivalent from HEC recognised institute with five years' experience in the relevant field in BPS-17 or equivalent in any Government/ Semi- Government/ autonomous bodies/national or international organisation of repute. 45 Years (Max.) 6. Assistant Director (BPS-17) (Regular) (1 position) Sindh (R1= 1 Waster's degree or equivalent. MS Office is also required. 21-35 years 7. Assistant Director (Systems Management) (BPS-17) (Regular) (2 positions) KPK = 1 Balochistan= 1 First class Master's/ Bachelors degree (16 years) in Information Technology/ Computer Sciences/BCS/BCE/BS Engineering (Electrical/ Telecom) or equivalent from HEC recognised institute. 35 Years (Max.) 8. Assistant Director (Web Designing) (BPS-17) (Regular) (1 position) Sindh (R)= 1 IVISc/MCS/BE Computer Science/Technology/Electronics/IT. Sound knowledge of all the aspects of Web Designing including development and upgradation, HTML. DHTML, ASP Java Scripts. Web Designing Tools. 21 - 35 Years 9. Business System Coordinator (Contract Tenure of 1 year (Extendable) Salary: Rs. p.m. with increase Automation Basis) Contract: 100,000/-5-10% per anum. (1 position) Merit= 1 First class CA/CA Finalist. ICMA or ACCA qualified with six years experience of financial management and business automation with five years experience at managerial level in a reputed organisation. He/she must have knowledge of Government Finance and Audit Rules and ability to work independently and innovatively with effective interpersonal skills. 35_55 years 10. I. SAP Technical Consultant (BASIS Specialist) (Contract basis) ii. SAP Technical Consultant (ABAP Specialist) (Contract basis) Tenure of Contract: 1 year (Extendable) Salary: Rs. 75,000/-p.m. with 5-10% increase per anum. (2 positions) Merit= 2 MBA/CA/ICMA/MIT/MCS, HR. Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Commerce or equivalent from HEC recognised university/ institute. Three years Post qualification experience in SAP in the relevant field in any reputed organisation OR one year experience for SAP Certified Associate, Consultant in BASIS or ABAP respectively. 25_50 years 11. Business Automation Programme Manager (Finance) (Contract Basis) Tenure of Contract : 1 year (Extendable) Salary : Rs. 50,000/- p.m. with 5-10% increase per anum. (1 position) Merit= 1 First class CA Inter, Inter qualified ICMA or ACCA with three years of working experience of financial management in computerised environment in a reputed organisation Helshe must have knowledge of Government Finance and Audit Rules and ability to work matrix environment and to develop team through skill development of other teammates. Preference will be given to candidates having post certification experience in SAP Fl. 25-50 years 12. Assistant Private Secretary (BPS-16) (Regulate) (1 position) Punjab= 1 Graduate with 100/50 w.p.m. speed in short hand/typing respectively. Preferably three years' experience as Steno-typist. Knowledge of MS Office is also required. 21 - 35 Years 13. Assistant (BPS-15) (Regular) (7 positions) Punjab= 1 Punjab (Women) = 1 Punjab (Minority) = 1 Graduate (at least 2" Division) from HEC recognised university/institute with two years of work experience in public/private sector organisation of good repute. • Applicants are required to download Application Form on prescribed format from HEC website http://www.hec.gov.pk/site/careers and send hard copy of the application form along with a photograph to the undersigned. Applications must reach within 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement • Interview of eligible candidates residing outside the Islamabad/Rawalpindi region and vicinity will be conducted via audio/video conferencing at the nearest possible location of the candidates i.e. Karachi. Lahore. Quetta and Peshawar. • Application processing fee (a Rs. 250/- shall be deposited at Habib Bank Limited in the A/C No. 17427900133401 of HEC. Postal Order/Bank Draft/Banker's Cheque /Pay Order will also be acceptable in favour of Director (Accounts), HEC. • The experience as part time, honorary, apprentice and internee will not be considered/counted as experience. Selected candidate can be posted anywhere in Pakistan. • HEC is equal opportunity employer. For posts at Serial No. 1 to 18, candidates having any V- division in their educational career need not to apply. Apply separately for each quota/position. Name of the post along with quota should be clearly mentioned on the envelope. • Those already in Government Service should apply through proper channel. Five years general age relaxation already included. Further age relaxation will be given as per Government rules. Incomplete/late applications will not be entertained. • Written test will be conducted Knowledge of MS Office, good verbal and written communication skills in English is also required. Only eligible candidates will be called for interview. • No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in test/interview, HEC reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason.
