POSITION OF VICE CHANCELLOR

The Government of Sindh invites applications from the accomplished and motivated academic leaders domiciled in the province of Sindh for the position of Vice Chancellor, Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Karachi. THE CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:  • A Ph.D from HEC recognized University • At least 15 quality research publications in national and international HEC recognized research journals. • He should qualify as Professor as per HEC criteria. • 20 years' experience in academic position of which a minimum of 10 years of experience of working in senior administrative position. • Candidates must not be above 65 years of age on the closing date of application. TERMS OF APPOINTMENT:  The Vice Chancellor shall be appointed by the Chief Minister on the recommendation of the Search Committee formed by the Government of Sindh, for a period of (04) four years and will be entitled to draw salary according to qualification and as prescribed under the rules.
