Description :

The Investment Department of Government of Sindh is implementing a Doing Business Reforms Program with the assistance of the World Bank to improve investment climate in the country as well as improve Pakistan's ranking in the Ease of Doing Business Index. In this regard, the Government of Sindh has created a dedicated Doing Business Reforms Implementation Unit (DBRIU) within the Investment Department which will spearhead this reform agenda in Sindh. This Unit will function as the Secretariat of the Sindh Doing Business Reforms Council. The Government intends to fill the following vacant posts for this Unit:

1 Chartered Accountant or a Master's in Business Administration or related discipline (Public Administration, Business Economics, Development Studies, Management & Planning) from a reputed/recognized university. Seven (7) years of relevant experience in the private sector. Some experience of working with international financial institutions or international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is preferable. Prior experience of having worked for foreign aided projects in governance, legislation, or improving regulatory environment or will be preferred. Excellent understanding of investment climate, economy and business. Excellent communication, report writing and networking skills. Remuneration will be market based commensurate with qualification and experience. 2. 2. MANAGER 2 Master's degree/BSc. BS Hons. in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Business Economics, Development Studies, Management & Planning etc. from a reputed/recognized foreign university. Communication, report writing and presentation skills. Five to seven years of experience in private sector. Some experience of working with international financial institutions or international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is preferable. Ability to learn quickly and analyze issues relating to business regulations, investment and economy. Prior experience of having worked for foreign aided projects in governance, legislation, or improving business environment will be preferred. Good communication, report writing and presentation skills. Remuneration will be market based commensurate with qualification and experience. 3. 3. COMMUNICATION OFFICER 1 Master's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Mass Commu-nication or a relevant field from a reputed university; Five to Seven years of successful and verifiable experience in a relevant field. Demonstrated ability to develop and rollout successful campaigns for multi-stake-holders; Systematic, organized, and detail-oriented, with ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment and meet tight deadlines with professionalism; Excellent communication and networking skills; Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team; Remuneration will be market based commensurate with qualification and experience.
