GOVERNMENT OF SINDH INVESTMENT DEPARTMENT VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT (Project Coordinators ,Legal, Procurement and Infrastructure Required)
Investment Department, Government of Sindh is seeking suitable candidates, domiciled in Sindh, for following positions on contract basis. The posts are purely temporary, however may be extended on need-cum-performance basis:
Project Coordinator (Legal) Qualification: • The candidate should have LLB/LLM/Bar at Law Degree(s) from local and foreign university recognized by Higher Education Commission. • Fluent in English and having rich knowledge of Pakistani & International law. • Enrolled in Sindh Bar Council and licensed to appear before the Court(s) of the law. • Must be able to demonstrate strong communication and

Project Coordinator (Procurement) Qualification: • 16 years degree in Finance/Accounting recognized university by Higher Education Commission. • Specialization and/or training in procurement / contract management will be preferred. • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. • Must be able to demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills • Advance research and analytical skills Job Description • Facilitate and oversee Investment Departments function pertaining to procurement. • Ensure compliance of Sindh Public Procurement Rules and any other regulations pertinent to procurements. • Procurement rules and regulations of International funding agencies and other organizations. • Perform any other related task(s) as assigned by GoS.
Job Description • The candidate is expected to provide technical input into all infrastructure projects including project costing and structuring to government. • Assist Investment Department and other government entities (if directed) on the project feasibility and viability. • Prepare and analyze all applicable models for all stages of project development. • Assess risk and implication for project and advice department accordingly. • Oversee and monitor civil/development works undertake by developers / contractors. • Perform any other related task(s) as assigned by GoS, Experience: At least 5 years of successful, verifiable and relevant experience of designing and supervising civil infrastructure schemes preferably public sector schemes/donor organization schemes.
