Purpose of the post
The Protection Team Leader leads the implementation of protection activities in accordance with the objectives and strategies defined by the delegation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
REQUIREMENTS:

? PhD or Master’s degree or equivalent (preferably in law, international relations, or social sciences).
? Previous experience of working with criminal justice actors e.g. police, prisons, legal fraternity etc.
? At least 8 years of work experience in a similar field.
? Advanced knowledge of the global humanitarian protection context.
? Confirmed team leadership and management skills.
? Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
? Ability to travel in and outside Pakistan at short notice.
? Fluent in written and spoken English; fluency in Pashtu and advanced knowledge and understanding of the Pakthun culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Responsible for the management of the Protection Office in Peshawar sub-delegation, providing Restoring Family Links (RFL) services to families of detainees abroad and supporting the capacity-building of the Pakistan Red Crescent’s work on RFL in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
? Advises the sub-delegation on the strategy on ensuring protection of those affected by disasters/emergencies in KP.
? Contributes in the identification of resources required for the implementation of the programs under her/his responsibility.
? Assists in ensuring effective integration of the ICRC protection standards within the overall operational approach and programs of the sub-delegation.
? Support the ICRC engagement with actors of the criminal justice.
? Develops and maintains a network of contacts in the field of protection, including authorities/criminal justice actors, international organizations and non-government organizations.
? Participates in the annual planning and budget elaboration, and monitors implementation.

Purpose of the post
The ICRC Medical officer responsible will work in the ICRC supported health facilities in Tribal districts in close collaboration with the Tribal district health authorities and health staff to improve the quality of health care in the supported areas. Main tasks are to contribute to the analysis of the gaps in terms of the secondary health care and propose possible solutions (management of human resources, drugs, equipment, training plan, procurement process and other activities related to the ICRC supported areas) and conduct regular field visit and monitor activities in supported areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Supports the Head of Secondary Health Care in analysing operational challenges- offers tangible solutions aimed at improving quality of health care.
? Supports the Head of Secondary Health Care in developing and implementation of secondary health care project model in Tribal districts.
? Monitors quality, relevance and implementation of the ICRC supported health activities, under the guidance of the Head of Secondary health of ICRC Peshawar Sub-delegation.
? Works in collaboration with Tribal districts health authorities and PRC medical teams involved in Emergency response.
? Contributes to the running of the health project in general to meet the objectives of the project.
? Facilitates collaboration with the different stakeholders involved in the M&E plan and management meetings.
? Monitor and evaluate the project using Result Based Management (RBM) tool.

REQUIREMENTS:
? Valid medical degree as per Pakistan Medical Dental Council with Public Health Background.
? Minimum 04 years humanitarian work experience in a similar field of activity.
? Good knowledge of public health, and local health services, staff and system.
? Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
? Good interpersonal communication skills.
? Very good computer literacy.
? Good rigor, method and analytical skills.
? Management skills.
