JOB ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) OF Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL)
Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL), the sole Pakistan based reinsurer in the public sector invites applications for the post of "Chief Executive Officer" at its Head Office, Karachi on contract basis, from candidates with a proven track record of consistent high performance with the following qualifications and experience:
Qualification & Experience
Candidate applying for the post should: • Have a Master Degree or Equivalent in Insurance/Risk Management/Actuarial Sciences/Management / Business Administration / Commerce / Finance to be a member of a recognized body of Professional Accountants OR be an ACI I or FCII or Equivalent. • Have at least 20 years of experience including minimum 5 years as 'Key Officer' in General Insurance Industry. • Knowledge of how countries have managed to transform and strengthen reinsurance industry and best practices and modalities of reinsurance business will be appreciated. • Have at least two years of experience as CEO in a mid / large sized company (preferably in an insurance company).

1. No person shall be appointed to the position of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) unless he / she is considered to be meeting the criteria set for the position in 'Insurance Companies (Sound and Prudent Management) Regulations, 2012' issued by SECP and his / her appointment is approved by SECP. 2. The appointment will be on Contract Basis for a period of three years which may be extended based on the performance to be evaluated by PRCL's Board of Directors. Detailed terms and conditions will be stated in the contract.
3. Applicants working in Private Sector / Autonomous Bodies should send their CV and testimonials to the undersigned within fifteen (15) days after the publication of this advertisement. The applicants working in Government / Public Sector Companies or Autonomous Bodies should route their applications through proper channel. Existing employees of PRCL is fulfilling the above criteria may also apply. 4. Eligibility will be determined and selection will be finalized as per approved Government policy. The shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview. The candidate shall not be entitled for any TA/DA while appearing for the interview. 5.
