Education, in the present age, has become multi-dimensional, multi-disciplined and challenging, becoming the top priority for every socially and economically strong country. Pakistan Education Development Organisation (PEDO) is a registered body, established to develop sound educational bodies with state-of-the-art facilities. One such project is CADET COLLEGE RAWALPINDI located at the heart of the country, near Islamabad. The college provides education to its cadets from class VII to F.Sc level. The college encourages cadets to develop their aptitude for any pursuit / career of their liking while providing all the study/career counseling required.

In this scientific and digital age, our college comes with state-of-the-art laboratories.
Academic Block
Our academic block comes with all the necessary facilities including spacious classes, well rounded library, well equipped laboratories and a multi purpose auditorium.

Our hostel block is a home away from home for our cadets. It is air-conditioned, spacious and bright.
Mess
In order to ensure proper nutrition and growth, our messing facilities are always kept up-to-date with cleanliness code and the menu is always kept well-rounded.
Sports
The college administration recognizes the important role sports play in the overall mental and physical growth of an individual. Accordingly, facilities for major sports are available in and around the college building.
Admission Procedure / Schedule
Admissions are open to students at Lower Secondary Level in Classes VII and VIII. Admission in Class XI is granted strictly on merit determined by the Board resuts, a cadet with less than 60% marks in SSC Exam will not be granted admission in Class XI and will be withdrawn from the College. Fresh admission to Class IX is subject to availability of vacancies. The admission schedule is advertised in the leading newspapers of the country. Admission is based on merit determined through the entry test for respective classes. Other conditions for the admission are given below:
Age Limit
Age limit for admission in various classes is as under:
Class VII 11 ½ to 13 years (On 1st May every year)
Class VIII 12 ½ to 14 years (On 1st May every year)
Class IX 13 ½ to 15 years (On 1st May every year)
Class XI 15 ½ to 17 years (On 1st May every year)

The hard work with sincerity of purpose will, Insha-Allah, bear fruit that the society will reap in the form of educated manpower that this institution is going to produce. I bow my head in humility to Almighty Allah who gave me the courage and perseverance to continue working on the project that is still ongoing, despite many limitations and unfavourable circumstances.I express my sincerest gratitude to all the members of Board of Directors and all others who are in any way concerned with the project for their standing by me from the time of conception to the completion of the first phase of the project and for their continuous co-operation during the second phase of ongoing works of the institution.As the college has successfully entered into its Ninth year excellence, and is managing the Seventh Board Examinations this year, I, from the core of my heart, pray to Allah for the distinguished results and glaring success of my cadets.It is my utmost desire that the institution becomes the alma mater of the erudite people and the men of letters, i.e. a launching pad for those who wish to fly high in the heavens of knowledge and wisdom.The day is not far away for all of us to see the plant which is braving at the moment the winds of severe weathers to start flowering after firmly rooting itself in the soil. The academic facilities of the college consist of the following:

– Excellent laboratories with the latest equipment and models for practical work in the science subjects.
– Computer laboratory with Internet and Internet facilities.
– Library, well stocked with plenty of prescribed textbooks, reference books and general reading material, newspapers, periodicals and magazines both in Urdu and English, with a future plan to provide cubicles installed with computers with CDs covering a variety of topics.
– Latest teaching / educational aids including multi-media, projection room with software on Computer Based Training Techniques (CBTs).

College Library
The enrich the minds of the students with the valuable knowledge, Cadet College Rawalpindi has a library adequately stocked with a variety of books on different subjects. Efforts are in hand to further improve the library by arranging reference material as well as the latest reading material to fulfill the needs of our cadets.
Keeping in view the value and importance of Computer Literacy in this scientific age, the college has Computer Lab having modern computers. Computer literacy has been made compulsory for all classes.
Curriculum
The College offers the following combinations of subjects:
Lower Secondary Classes (VII & VIII)
English, Urdu, Mathematics, General Science, Computer Science, Social Studies and Islamiat. The Board of Directors approves curriculum design and books. Ample emphasis is laid on improving English language communication skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening skills) and on providing a clear understanding of mathematical and scientific concepts, which are to be expanded and applied to further studies during the stay in the college.

• Secondary Classes (SSC) Level
From Class IX, all Cadets are prepared for Matric Examination of FBISE in the Science Groups with the following subjects:
Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Computer Science
• Higher Secondary Classes (HSSC) Level
At Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) level, the College offers the following combinations:
• Pre-Engineering Group:
With Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major science subjects and English, Urdu, Pakistan Studies and Islamiat as compulsory subjects
• Pre-Medical Group:
With Physics, Chemistry and Biology as major science subjects along with the compulsory subjects as mentioned above.
• Science General Group:
With Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science as major science subjects along with the compulsory subjects as mentioned above.
Text Books
A specially designed curriculum and books as approved by the Board of Directors are followed for Classes VII and VIII to provide sound academic foundation to cadets to pursue studies in higher classes. The college is affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad and, therefore, for SSC & HSSC Examination prescribed syllabi and books of the FBISE are followed
