In these challenging times for the media, a Master of Science in Journalism from the Centre for Excellence in Journalism (CEJ) at IBA helps improve employment prospects. Many from our first batch (which will complete in December 2019) have gained employment or have been given offers from media houses. The 1.5-year MSJ program allows students to enhance their skills in all forms of journalism - digital, audio and video. Students also gain practical experience in a functional newsroom. With a syllabus reflecting new media global trends, devised in collaboration with Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, this is an opportunity for students to secure a Masters from IBA and to learn modern skills which enables them to find employment in reporting, editing and production across media platforms.

Eligibility ? Minimum of 16 years of education a Minimum CGPA of 2.5 or 50% marks in last degree ? Applicants with prior journalism experience encouraged to apply ? Applicants are tested in English and general knowledge skills
