Khan Institute of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering (KIBGE). University of Karachi. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (ITS) ELIGIBILITY: a) Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Botany, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics, Microbiology, Physiology, Zoology or an allied discipline) from an HOC recognized University/Institution with proven research record in the field of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (ITS) ELIGIBILITY: a) Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Botany, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics, Microbiology, Physiology, Zoology or an allied discipline) from an HEC recognized University/Institution with proven research record in the field of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering. b) Six (6) years' post-Ph.D. OR minimum of 4 years of Post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience with at least 6 years of teaching/research experience prior to the Ph.D. in the field of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in the field of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering in a national or international organization. c) Ten (10) research publications (with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years) in journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track System (TTS) by the HEC, i.e., research papers published in journals that fall under the category W (impact factor) journals.
