Moving ahead in this direction. ICAP is looking to induct bright and energetic individuals for following positions:
SENIOR MANAGER TECHNICAL SERVICES - KARACHI
The candidate will be required to assist the Director to manage the affairs of the department including maintaining relationships with the other regulatory bodies . Provide technical input on accounting, auditing and taxation matters. Prepare and review a range of documents including technical staff papers, educational materials and other communication materials. Handle end-to-end organization of Accounting Standards Board (ASB) and its Working Groups (WGs) /Taskforce. Develop and complete projects through conducting extensive research, consultation and analysis. Coordinate with regulators and members on matters related to accounting, auditing, corporate laws and taxation.

The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience and possesses well-developed technical knowledge of IFRS. He /she should have good understanding of ISAs, Companies Act and Taxation laws along with strong research and analytical skills to understand in detail complex financial reporting and auditing issues. Strong team ethics along with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities. The candidate must also have hands on experience of financial reporting advisory or audit and assurance from renowned accountancy firms. Preference will be given to candidates with excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an assessable way and effectively lead meetings with external stakeholders.
MANAGER RESEARCH KARACHI
The candidate will set up and operate a new unit - Research Facilitation Unit (RFU). He/She will perform the following key tasks, among others:
Design, conduct and facilitate research in accounting, auditing, taxation, finance and related areas; foster a culture of and necessary competencies for research amongst members and trainee students; explore arrangements for joint research with universities and research institutes; develop and facilitate development of indigenous case studies; facilitate authoring and publishing of research papers, reports, case studies
in reputed journals; explore joint post-graduate research programs with universities and research institutes.
The ideal candidate shall have an advanced degree (at least Master's/MPhil with a significant course work in research methods and a thesis / dissertation) in a related discipline from a recognized local / foreign university coupled with verifiable work experience at a university or research institute that must be relevant to the job.
ASSISTANT MANAGER ADMINISTRATION - LAHORE
The candidate will be responsible to supervise and manage infrastructure of ICAP including, renovation, procurement, construction and negotiation with vendors for cost and services. This position will also be responsible to supervise and manage events, assist the supervisor in administrative affairs, maintenance of equipment and inventory records, to ensure best administrative practices are implemented and followed within the limits of ICAP policies and procedures.
The candidate must be an MBA or Masters from HEC recognized University/Institute with more than 5 years of relevant experience in the above mentioned tasks. Ex-Army personnel of the rank of Retd. Junior Commissioned Officer having required qualification and experience in administrative and/or procurement functions are encouraged to apply.
OFFICER TECHNICAL SERVICES - KARACHI
The candidate will be responsible for preparing, composing, designing and formatting of the internal and external documents of the department He/she will take ownership of allocated projects from preparation to publication and will also provide support in the administrative matters of the department_
The candidate must possess a Bachelors degree from HEC recognized University along with exposure of working in a reputable organization with hands on experience in preparing, composing, designing and formatting of documents and publications. The role would suit an individual who is creative and has proficiency in MS Office (Word. Excel and PowerPoint) and graphical tools like Coral Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator In Design and Publisher. He/she must have ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
