BANKING

The firm conducts legal audits for banks objective whereof is to ensure that all loans given by the bank are properly secured in terms of the sanction advice or offer letters. SALES TAX / FEDERAL EXCISE DUTY.

A Sales tax is a consumption charged at the point of purchase for certain goods and services. The tax is usually set as a percentage by the government charging the Tax. Mr. Muhammad Shahid Baig is the Chief Executive of the Firm. He did his LLB (Legum Baccalaureus) from the University Law College, University of the Punjab, Lahore with distinction. After completing L.L.B programe, he did diploma in Taxation Law(D.T.L) from the University of the Punjab and then Masters in local language. Subsequently he did L.L.M (Legum Magister) from AUL London and stood first in all the semesters. Since then he is actively engaged in different spheres of law practice. Besides running a law firm, he is also associated with Quaid-e-Azam Law College and Directorate of Direct Taxes (Training & Research) Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore as Visiting Faculty Member and teaching various law subjects to CSP Officers and Law Students.

He also owns a publication house known as M.Shahid Baig Law Publications. One of its known product is “Monthly VAT” Exclusive. This is the first exclusive monthly Journal on Sales Tax and Federal Excise Law. Mr.M.Shahid Baig is the Chief Editor of this Magazine.

University Multan in 2003, after that he did LLM in Corporate Law from International Islamic University Islamabad. He has special expertise in legal research and abreast with the latest developments in law. He has rich practical experience in dealing with verities of legal issues including Corporate Affairs, Banking Litigation, Civil Litigation and Criminal Matters.

Mr. Habib Ullah Sheikh, did his LLB from University Law College, University of the Punjab in 2002. He is the integral part of the legal team of Baig’s law consultancy. He has more than five years experience in dealing the matters of Banking and Corporate Law. He is member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association. He is expert in alternate dispute resolutions, especially banking matters.

Mr. Sohail Mahmood Chaudhry, did his LLB form Punjab University. He is young man having strong analytical professional skill. He has special expertise in Environmental, Tax, and Criminal litigation.


RANA MAHTAB AHMAD KHAN (B.A. LLB) Advocate High Court
He has good experience in criminal law. He looks criminal litigation of the firm upto different forums including Anti-Terrorist Courts, Accountability Courts, Drugs Court, Customs Court and High Court.
MISS.WAJIHA HAFEEZ (B.Sc. LLB DIA.LLM ) Advocate High Court.
She is very competent Lawyer having special expertise in family law litigation. She has great experience of dealing in different suits of family nature including dissolution of marriage, custody of minors, Guardianship of minors and other related issues.

He is very intelligent and competent professional having vast experience of civil litigation.

Our fees are charged on a time basis and vary according to the technical expertise, staff salary rate and experience required. We maintain an accurate, systematic and effective time recording system and we subscribe to professional surveys of accountancy charge out rates annually, to ensure we are charging our clients at fair market rates. All new clients receive a copy of this survey together with our rates.
We provide detailed fee accounts to all clients upon completion of their job, and our rates are consistent with those generally adopted within our profession.
