TVET Sector Support Programme
As a federal enterprise, the Deutsche Gesellschaft fOr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development.' The TVET Sector Support Programme, funded by the European Union, the Federal Republic of Germany and the Royal Norwegian Embassy. The Programme is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in close collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and a number of public and private sector organizations at the national and provincial/regional levels. The Programme is seeking a suitable candidate for the following position;
Job title: Technical Advisor Labour Market Analyst (Reference No. TVET-SSP 2018/019) Duty Station: Islamabad
Qualifications and Experience: • Master degree holder in Economics, Education Management, Business Management for Information Technologies (Software) • At least five (5) years' experience in relevant field and having experience in conducting studies as in descriptive statistics and inferential statistics • Possesses knowledge of the principles and practices of labour market analysis • Good knowledge of the available sources of labour market and occupational information and ability to prepare report. analyz trends and communicate effectively • Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software's, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS office) • Very good knowledge of English language, and knowledge of German will be an asset
