WET Sector Support Programme
'As a federal enterprise, the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. The TVET Sector Support Programme. funded by the European Union, the Federal Republic of Germany and the Royal Norwegian Embassy. The Programme is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fiir Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in close collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and a number of public and private sector organizations at the national and provincialir egional levels. The Programme is seeking a suitable candidate for the following position for its office in Islamabad;
Job title: Technical Advisor Centre of Excellence (CoE) (Reference No. TVET-SSP 20191049)
Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor's in engineering (preferable civil or mechanical), Educational Sciences, Project Management, or a related discipline • At least 10 years of experience in TVET and minimum 2 years' experience in industry engagement and employment promotion • Experience in project management and development and delivery of training • Excellent written and oral communication • Familiarity with national policies, strategies within Pakistan TVET sector • Very good working knowledge of ICT technologies and computer applications • Very good knowledge of the English, Urdu and other regional languages spoken in Pakistan
