'As a federal enterprise. the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development.' The TVET Sector Support Programme. funded by the European Union, the Federal Republic of Germany and the Royal Norwegian Embassy. The Programme is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in close collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and a number of public and private sector organizations at the national and provincial/regional levels. The Programme is seeking a suitable candidate for the following position for its office in Islamabad;
Job title: Technical Advisor Competency Based Curricula Development (Reference No. TVET-SSP 2019/042)
Qualifications and Experience: • Master's degree in a relevant field (public administration. education, business development, technology, etc.) • At least 5 years professional work experience in an organization providing or facilitating NET and involved in TVET sector with work experience in competency standards, curriculum development • Proven knowledge of modern methods of curriculum development (e.g. DACUM) • Sound and proven knowledge about modern concepts of competency-based training and national qualifications framework • Sound record in working with private sector representatives • Excellent skills of information and communication technologies (especially MS Office) • Fluency in spoken and written English and Urdu • Good interpersonal skills and willingness to travel across Pakistan
