As a federal enterprise, the Deutsche Gesellschaft fiir Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. The GIZ Country Office is seeking suitable candidates for the following positions;
Job title: Regional Risk Management Advisor - Sindh (Reference No. CO-GIZ 2018/014) Duty Station: Karachi
Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor's Degree in related subject or equivalent profession-al experience • Minimum three years professional experience in a related discipline • Demonstrated capabilities in planning, assessment, analysis and executing site security-related operations • Security-related training courses an added advantage • Language skills (good spoken and written English, Urdu and preferably regional)
Job title: Operations Officer (Reference No. CO-61Z 2018/037) Duty Station: Islamabad
Qualifications and Experience: • Higher secondary certificate/diploma or similar qualification from a recognised college • At least 2 years professional experience • Security related trainings will be an added advantage. • Good working knowledge of ITC (related software, phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office) • Be available to work shifts: 8 hrs per day / evening / night shifts (rotating) and complete 40 hrs. per week • Female operators will work on a day shift system concept, early morning till late afternoon, completing 40 hrs a week, including Saturday's and Sunday's
