Our client is a leading institution in the development sector and is looking for following senior level positions:
HEAD OF INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT
Position • The position will be responsible for the Infrastructure Development function as well as for design, development and implementation of strategies, framework, policies and procedures in the areas of large and small scale community Infrastructure Development, Water and Energy, Renewable Energy, Disaster Preparedness & Management, Education and Health & Nutrition. • Will establish and enforce technical standards to enhance quality and impact of all programmes. Will align programme design to incorporate new and green construction technologies that enhance environmental and social impact and mitigate the harmful effects of climate change, national and international standards and priorities and best practices, and organizational values. • Will provide solutions that add value and increase efficiency of the organization, improve staff performance and service delivery of its partner organizations. Review and continuously improve operational policies and procedures to enhance its relevance and efficacy. • Will work to strengthen the organization's relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, outreach and impact in contributing towards the SDGs as part of the senior management team. • Will strengthen the data collection, documentation, communication and reporting of results. Build a motivated, dynamic team capable of designing, delivering, and documenting results. Will develop and maintain effective relationships with government, civil society organizations, funding agencies and the private sector. Qualification
The incumbent should have at least 16 years of education (B.Sc./BE) preferably in Civil or Electrical discipline from a PEC/HEC recognized institution and a valid PEC registration membership. Certificates or Master's degree in environment/green technologies is a plus. A minimum of 15 years' relevant work experience at the national/international level in the development sector, out of which five years in a senior management position. Experience in designing and managing new/green technologies built in the past 5 years and in Disaster Risk Reduction and rehabilitation infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be a value-driven individual with experience of designing and managing large scale infrastructure or disaster relief projects. Must be capable of managing donor relationships and ensuring timely and effective delivery of projects. The incumbent should be goal-driven, innovative and action-oriented individual and possess a collaborative yet disciplined management style to ensure team performance and capability, along with excellent analytical, interpersonal, leadership and coaching skills.
HEAD OF INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
email@example.com Position • The position will provide leadership and direction and be responsible for the Institutional Development function of the organization. • Will ensure capacity building and development of local institutions in all programmes. • The incumbent will strategically review current models and roles of institutions such as community organizations, with a view to transforming them and bringing about a paradigm shift in the sector. • He/she will spearhead the development of the organization's thematic strategies to have them incorporated across all operations in line with the vision and mission and objectives of the organization. • Will ensure where necessary the design and delivery of programmes that focus on inclusion of gender and marginalized communities', as well as their mainstreaming across all operations. • Create strategies and implement these to ensure that the organization's values are embedded into and implemented throughout the organization and all of its programmes. • Will network, develop greater synergies and collaborations with relevant stakeholders, maintain effective relationships with government, civil society organizations, funding agencies and the private sector. • Will provide support to the knowledge management function of the organization, add value & increase efficiency of the organization and service delivery of its partner organizations. • Will. work to strengthen the organization's relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, outreach and impact in contributing towards the SDGs as part of the senior management team. Qualification
The incumbent should have at least 16 years of education or equivalent with Master's in Social Sciences/Anthropology/Human Sciences/Project Management/Business Administration/Public Administration or relevant discipline. A minimum of 15 years' relevant work experience at the national/international level in the development sector, out of which five years in a senior management position. Extremely strong communication skills (Urdu and English). Deep understanding of Pakistan's development context and the various models of social mobilization deployed over the past 30 years. Preferably have experience of managing large scale donor-funded development projects.
