The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP / Institute) is an autonomous body established under the Chartered Accountants Ordinance, 1961. It is in the process of establishing a new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Supervision Department to help fulfill !OAP's role and responsibilities as a Self-Regulatory Body for Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CET). Moving ahead in this direction ICAP is looking to induct bright and energetic individuals for the following positions:
MANAGER — ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING (AML) SUPERVISION DEPARTMENT
(LAHORE)
Key Responsibilities and Role Specifications Manager AML Supervision Department will assist the Head of Department in managing the AML / CFT supervisory activities of the Institute and in ensuring effective execution and implementation of the Institute's AML / CFT supervisory mechanism in line with the AML Framework issued by the Institute. The ideal candidate must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 2 years' experience of working in the AML / CFT compliance function of an AML / CFT Supervisor or a financial institution. He / she should have in — depth understanding of Pakistan AML / CFT legislation, FATF Recommendations and International AML / CFT practices. He / she should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, both oral and written and effectively lead meetings with external stakeholders.
DEPUTY MANAGER — ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING (AML) SUPERVISION DEPARTMENT (KARACHI)
Key Responsibilities and Role Specifications Deputy Manager AML Supervision Department will assist the Head of Department in managing the AML / CFT supervisory activities of the Institute and in ensuring effective execution and implementation of the Institute's AML / CFT supervisory mechanism in line with the AML Framework issued by the Institute. The ideal candidate should be a Professional Accounting Affiliate (ICAP) or Member of any other Professional Accountancy body with at least 1 year experience of working in the AML / CFT compliance function of an AML / CFT Supervisor or a financial institution. He / she should have understanding of Pakistan AML / CFT legislation, FATF Recommendations and International AML / CET practices. He / she should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, both oral and written and effectively lead meetings with external stakeholders.
