01 Position/Job Title Division Head— I.T. Strategy & Governance Direct Reporting to • Chief Technology Officer Academic I Professional Qualification • Minimum Graduate Degree or equivalent from HEC recognized University / Institute. Experience • Minimum 10 years' experience leading IT Governance/Risk! Compliance functions with responsibility for the management and coordination of all IT Governance/Risk/Compliance activities. • The candidate must have demonstrable experience and proficiency in one or more tools, models, and frameworks relevant to IT Governance, Strategy and Architecture. Other Skills/ Expertise/ Knowledge Required • Must be able to employ IT Strategy and Governance framework(s) to develop an IT model to support the organization's strategic objectives. • Must be able to plan, develop, deploy, and sustain IT Governance framework(s) and processes to facilitate the identification, assessment, escalation, management. and reporting of risk across IT, including oversight of project/program risk. disaster recovery and business continuity planning, delivery, operations, and strategic planning. ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, standards and regulations. • Must be able to influence IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture to optimize value co-creation in concert with IT Governance_ • Must be able to facilitate the incorporation of IT Risk and Governance into an organization's Enterprise Risk Management Framework. • Must be able to maintain IT compliance programs and defined the strategy and approach to ensure compliance with IT-related regulatory, legal requirements. • Must be able to built and grew a central IT control framework mapped to industry best practices and regulatory requirements that defined the key IT controls that are performed across IT • Must be able to establish structures to align IT strategy with business strategy and implementation of meaningful IT performance measures. • Must be able to understand how governance decisions impact key business and IT metrics. and the execution of IT strategy. • Must be able to define and develop enterprise level project / program policies, processes, standards, governance, and metrics. • Must be able to define, implement. and adjust resource demand planning and capacity modeling at a Group level. • Must be able to clearly. succinctly. and objectively articulate the function, value, and benefits of IT Governance and IT Strategic Planning in a context-appropriate manner to a diverse set of stakeholders with varying perspectives. • Establish IT governance including frameworks, models, processes, practices, structures, and relational mechanisms enabling decision making in a repeatable structured manner to support investment in and use of IT in line with IT strategy. • Responsible for ensuring automation is built into all processes, functions. and activities; having an automation-first mindset. • Display and execute on a do-it-right-the-first-time approach. • Responsible for the establishment of strategic, operational and technical decision making process required to ensure that IT services are aligned to the Bank's priorities and risk appetite. • Responsible for developing frameworks and processes to ensure IT activities support enterprise objectives within its established risk tolerance. • Function as the single point of IT management contact for key elements such as enterprise IT policy governance. enterprise IT strategy, and IT risk. • Responsible for the development and implementation of processes to assess and/or monitor the effectiveness IT procedures to ensure adherence to standards and policies as appropriate. • Responsible for managing relationship and engagement with internal and external audit, compliance and regulatory stakeholders. and for collating, reporting. and progressing all governance, compliance. audit and regulatory requirements in a matrix environment. • Define and develop enterprise level project/program policies, processes, standards, governance, and metrics. • Responsible for conducting gap analysis on new and emerging guidance and lead the Group in adoption. • Work collaboratively with other corporate oversight functions to identify and implement consistent and effective approaches to risk governance and control-based activities. • Drive continuous improvements to processes and standards to ensure the T&DG meets its goals and objectives. • Responsible for the execution and maturity of the IT Governance program in line with progressively higher standards and mandates. • Maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of technology processes across the Bank. • Manage administration and provide oversight across all processes within T&DG (e.g., portfolio management, SDLC, change management, etc.), leveraging KPIs and metrics to measure and report on process performance and effectiveness. • Define, develop, and implement portfolio management processes, standards, governance, and metrics leveraging inputs from multiple sources. • Develop and implement project/program performance quality checks by leveraging a periodic project audit process. • Understand how governance decisions impact key IT metrics and the execution of Group strategy. • Develop reporting dashboards and tools to facilitate data- and insight-driven strategic planning, mitigate execution and operations risk. and improve speed to delivery and solution quality. • Learn and introduce new tools and processes as and when required and drive new or changed tools and processes to continually improve performance across T&DG. • Leverage the performance management cycle to motivate subordinates and support achievement of objectives; coach team members. • Drive culture of continuous improvement across T&DG through ongoing end-to-end process oversight, improvement and reengineering. • Manage the performance of managers and professional staff through goal setting, ongoing assessment and experienced coaching. • Provide MIS/Data on a defined frequency as well as on an adhoc basis. • Set objectives for the Division and ensure achievements of the same and assist CTO in IT related issues. • To ensure all assignments set by different Department/Unit Heads! Team Leaders are duly performed as per schedule & Bank procedure. • To monitor and review performance of Department/Unit Heads. Team Leaders and all other reporting personnel. • Establish a process to identify material skill gaps of team members. • Ensure that an adequate training program is in place for team members to address identified skill gaps. • Encourage team members to obtain well-recognized professional certifications in order to support business/technology objectives • Ensure underperformance is brought to team member's notice and addressed promptly and explicitly. • Ensure that all assignments are duly performed as per schedule & Bank procedure. • Monitor and review performance of Department/Unit Heads, Team Leaders and all other reporting personnel. • Recommend necessary trainings for reporting personnel. • Other duties as assigned by CTO from time to time.
