Position Operation Manager Basic Eligibility Criteria Academic / Professional Qualification • At least graduation from a reputable HEC recognized University/Institute/College. Preference will be given to candidates having Islamic banking qualification. Experience • At least 04 years banking experience. Key Result Areas Business Generation — Ensure a healthy and profitable inflow of new business and retention of exisiting clientele. High Service Quality — Ensure timely and effective processing of transactions at all ranges of the Branch Banking. Community & Environment — Ensure transactions are processed in compliance with the applicable regulatory and international requirements. Process Integrity- Establish and maintain localized control environment as ft line of defense. Learning & Growth — Develop, assist and mentor branch staff in terms of technical and management skills. Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities • To supervise all data processing activities at the branch. • To be responsible for opening and closing of branch and cash vault to start branch operations on predefined timings. • To adhere Bank's policies and procedures while ensuring security of day to day operations. • To address customer issues and make sure the bank's customer service meets required standards. • To be responsible for overseeing the bank's administrative and operational staff and directs work flow between departments. • To ensure inter-branch transactions are executed correctly and timely. • To ensure preparation of debit/credit vouchers as per daily transactions and proper filing for future reference. • To reconcile Bank General Accounts, NOSTRO/VOSTRO accounts, FE-25 accounts with SBP. • To supervise daily compilation and preparation of the statement of Affairs and other periodic reports/ statistics for Senior Management / Regulatory Authority. • To assist Branch Manager in development of annual budget for the branch and monitor compliance with the budgetary requirements. • To attend meetings as and when called by to ensure smooth operations of the Branch as per requirements set by Operations Group. • To review and provide comments on any observations relevant to Branch Operations cited by the auditors in their report. • To ensure confidentiality and transparency in maintaining customer bank accounts. • To review and authorize request for cancellation of drafts, misplaced/lost drafts and authorize stop payment entries in concerned ledgers. • To maintain appropriate Internal Controls to minimize inherent risk in transaction processes and to ensure operational standards and procedures • To monitor and ensure prompt rectification of audit/inspection related objections. • To implement any new software, program or system that has been offered to substitute manual operation work with system based utility. Assessment Tests / Interviews • Only shortlisted applicants strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for test and panel interviews. Employment Type • The employment will be on contractual basis, for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank's Policy / rules.
