National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDCL) is a public boiled Company, incorporated under the Companies Ordinance 1984 (Now Companies Act, 2017). The Company owns and operates the high voltage transmission system in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the AJK. The company employs a staff of over ten thousand for managing the transmission network. The company is looking for high caliber experienced individual for the following position on contract basis.
GENERAL MANAGER (HUMAN RESOURCES)
11= ? To formulate Human Resource philosophy that will govern the Company's actions with respect to Human Resource Management. ? To frame and implement HR policies developing and reviewing organizational structure, planning and implementing training system for Human Resource development, developing performance management and appraisal system, reviewing the recruitment and selection methodologies and, standards, revising compensation structure, formulating incentive and motivational plans for NTDC. ? To lead and manage Human Resources department and playa key role in facilitating change management. ? To develop and ensure implementation of human resource strategies by establishing departmental accountabilities, talent acquisition, career planning, compensation & benefits, health & welfare benefits, succession planning, recognition & retention, compliance and employee relations. ? To handle employee relationship matters efficiently, by leading the negotiations from both operational and strategic perspective. ? To handle CBAmatters prudently and effectively with additional knowledge of Labor Laws/ Rules /Policies. ? Proven track record of ability to work in teams and maintain optimistic liaison with all the stakeholders. ? Ability to provide HR strategies to achieve business vision & goals. ? Proficiency with commonly used Office softwares such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point etc. ? Strong leadership; change management, negotiation, conflict resolution, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and possessing high drive for achieving management objectives in the context of transformational restructuring of a large-scale renowned organization(s) and diverse experience at various levels will bean advantage. ? The position is based at Lahore, Pakistan and directly reporting to Managing Director NTDC. The selected incumbent will work closely with Board of Directors NTDC for above matters and ensure implementations and monitoring of all HR functions. ? Master degree in HR / Business Administration/ Management from an accredited foreign / local institution recognized by HEC. The candidate with the foreign qualification, having Membership of Professional HR, OD, IR and Management Bodies S, additional Law degree would be given preference. ? Candidates having experience in corporate restructuring at senior level should be given preference. ? Candidates having experience of multinational organization(s) as well as overseas experience will be given preference. ? The candidate should be upto 55 years of age on the date of this advertisement. ? NTDC officers fulfilling other pre-requisites can apply with the exception of upper age limit. Besides the mandatory qualification and responsibilities, the applicants must have the following professional skills: ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ? Tenure of Contract & Remuneration
? Three (03) years' contract will be offe red, extendable annually on the basis of satisfactory performance. ? Market based remuneration (negotiable) with fringe benefits as agreed between the candidate and the company.
